Resize a design for another format and work with pages

A design rarely lives in one shape. The size picker in the top bar changes the canvas to a preset — Square, Story/Reel, Presentation 16:9, Landscape post, YouTube thumbnail, A4 portrait and landscape, Infographic — or a custom size. Resize goes further: it asks the AI to re-lay the design out for the new shape instead of stretching it.
Pages turn a design into a document: a deck, a carousel, a menu, a multi-page flyer. Each page has its own size, background and elements, and exports together as PDF, PowerPoint or video.
How to do it
Change the canvas size
Click the size in the top bar (for example “A4 portrait (794×1123)”) and pick a preset or enter a custom width and height in pixels. Elements keep their positions; the page grows or shrinks around them.
Re-lay out for the new shape
Click “Resize” next to it and choose the target format. The AI rebuilds the layout for that shape — a square post becomes a story with the headline and picture rearranged, not squashed. The result is a normal design you can refine further.
Add and manage pages
In the page strip at the bottom: “+ Page” adds a blank page, “Duplicate” copies the current one, “Delete page” removes it. Drag thumbnails to reorder. Click a thumbnail to edit that page.
Generate pages with AI
In the refine bar, ask for pages: “add a page with opening hours”, “make this a 5-slide carousel”. New pages stream in with the design’s style.
Tips
- For print, set the physical size in the Print panel; the canvas size stays in pixels and the preflight tells you the resulting dpi.
- Duplicate a page before a big change so the earlier layout is still there.
- Carousels: keep one idea per page and let the last page carry the call to action.

- Can pages have different sizes?
- Yes. Each page carries its own width and height; PDF export sizes each PDF page accordingly.
- Which size should I use for print?
- Any size with the right proportions works; the Print panel maps it to a physical trim size and reports the dpi. A4 portrait (794×1123) is a convenient starting canvas for A-series prints.
